Hi, I’m Tamera!
I know what it feels like to make good money and not have the best money mindset and relationship with money. As a young girl, I watched my mom work hard as a single parent for the lifestyle she wanted for herself and 2 children. And the biggest lesson I learned about money: you work hard and struggle to get ahead.

At 16 with an affinity for numbers and newfound love of Black Enterprise Magazine, my dream was to be CFO of a Fortune 500 Company. The plan: make good money so I or my mother would never have to struggle.
In my 20’s, my career was on the fast track to success but my finances were about to derail! I was $20,000 in credit card and student loan debt, with a shiny new red car and little to no savings. Talking about stress? I had my fair share. I decided at that moment, I no longer wanted to work hard for money, but make money work for me. In less than 24 months, I paid off all my debt, bought my 1st new home and built up a significant savings all before age 30.
What made this possible?
Changing my money mindset and relationship with money.

I learned the power of building my bank account through savings that gave me freedom and flexibility to chart my own path.
For 11 years I worked in corporate America with c-suite executives as a financial and business analyst with Fortune 500 Companies doing what I thought would make me happy and fulfilled, but didn’t. I decided to leave corporate America to live life on my own terms and become an entrepreneur.
While building my entrepreneurial grit, I invested 10 years in a direct sales company growing, leading, and supporting the top organization and earning historic commissions.
As my mind expanded, so did my vision for what I wanted and how I desired to make an impact.
And with each opportunity, mastering my money mindset opened the door to freedom to take risks and leap when necessary.
Was it easy, heck no!
In April 2016, I faced my biggest challenge. My beloved mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer and in that moment I put everything on the line. No matter the cost to my career, dreams, or goals, I was ALL in. I was going to take care of my mother. And that’s what I did.
